This phrase came about due to a contest organized by www.nrg.co.il, shortly after the successful Nigritude Ultramarine and Seraphim Proudleduck SEO competitions. The objective is to optimize a website, and have it placed at the top spot in Google Search for the phrase.
Why was the phrase “Latur Motor” chosen?
A phrase was needed that produced no results when searched before the beginning of the competition using Google.
What does the phrase “Latur Motor” mean?
Latur - To try to locate or discover; search for.
Motor - A machine or an engine.
What is the duration of the contest?
The official starting date was the announcing date on www.nrg.co.il portal on the 2nd January, 2005. The contest is to run for almost two months and finish on 28th February, 2005, at 12pm GMT +2.
How does the contest go?
The competitors must reach top position in Google for the search term "לתור מוטור" (the Hebrew phrase for "Latur Motor") by 12pm (GMT+2) 28th February, 2005.
What are the prizes for winning the contest?
